Match Report
Our team started match day 6 in our usual format with three attacking players and three midfielders. The team immediately took the ball and territorial advantage and by the end of the 9th minute of the game, the team's best sniper A.Bhullar with assist S.Findlay opened the scoring in this game. After that we continued to put pressure on the opponent's defense and had several good chances. However, by the middle of the first half the opponents managed to level the game and create several dangerous chances. In one of the episodes, our goalkeeper Eddy saved our team. When it seemed that the teams would go into the break with the same score, the opposing midfielder made an excellent long-range shot that our goalkeeper couldn’t cope with.
We continue to fight at the top of the standings!
The visitors started the second half much more active and began to attack more. However , in the 59th minute of the game, our team’s midfielder Marvin irresistibly shot from long range. Then the opponent completely seized the initiative and moved on to attacks. Unfortunately, our team was unable to make quick counterattacks. The guests continued to put pressure on our defense until the final whistle, but our defenders coped with it. Our team received very difficult but important three points and continues to fight at the top of the standings.
