The North Delta Royals entered this game wearing undeclared home uniforms. Instead of red jersey, the owners were dressed in dark blue.Our guys urgently put on orange training bibs on top. Our team started match day 6 in our usual format with three attacking players and three midfielders. The team immediately took the ball and territorial advantage and by the end of the 9th minute of the game, the team's best sniper A.Bhullar with assist S.Findlay opened the scoring in this game. After that we continued to put pressure on the opponent's defense and had several good chances. However, by the middle of the first half the opponents managed to level the game and create several dangerous chances. In one of the episodes, our goalkeeper Eddy saved our team. When it seemed that the teams would go into the break with the same score, the opposing midfielder made an excellent long-range shot that our goalkeeper couldn’t cope with.
The visitors started the second half much more active and began to attack more. However , in the 59th minute of the game, our team’s midfielder Marvin irresistibly shot from long range. Then the opponent completely seized the initiative and moved on to attacks. Unfortunately, our team was unable to make quick counterattacks. The guests continued to put pressure on our defense until the final whistle, but our defenders coped with it.

The guests began to play more actively and in the 30th minute they took the lead in the game by playing an excellent flank combination. After this, the nature of the game did not change. Our team still couldn't do fast attacks. And at the end of the first half of the game, the opponent managed to double the lead. Once again it was a flank attack. With the game against Aldegrove Outlanders we completed our run of games against these opponents at this stage of the season. And if our guests were United B and Lowlanders, then on the last Friday we came to visit Aldegrove Park.Several our players were unable to attend this game for various reasons, but there was no particular concern. We brought a combat-ready team. Our guys took the ball from the opponent from the first minutes of the game and completely controlled the match. The only thing that could confuse was the lack of scoring chances. In the first quarter of the half we managed to create only a few half-chances.But then everything fell into place. In the 25th minute of the game, A. Bhullar opened the scoring in the match. And five minutes later, after a pass from G. Sandhu, Marvin jumped out to rendezvous with the goalkeeper and sent the second ball into the net. In the 39th minute of the game, a free kick was awarded to the visitors. A. Bhullar's shot was deflected by the opponent's wall, but Abhay was the first to reach the ball and scored the third goal of the game from close range. This was Abhay's 10th goal this season in all our team's games and 7th in the league.
In the second half the game calmed down a little. The matchday 3 against Lowlanders from Aldegrove started with surprises. The fact is that at the referee's starting whistle, 9 people entered the field as part of the guests, including the goalkeeper.The rest of the players did not have time to arrive at the start of the game.But our guys were not ready for this. Having an advantage of two (!!!) field players, our players spent the first 15 minutes of the game rolling the ball among themselves, not knowing what to do. The guests, having built a dense defensive line, calmly defended while waiting for replenishment of their squad.In addition, at the beginning of the game, one of our leaders A. Bhullar was knocked out after receiving a ball in the face. His position on the flank was taken by Fraser McKay.The guests finally replenished their roster and began to snap back.And in the middle of the first half they even took the lead in the match. A long shot, the goalkeeper hits the ball to the side, Bhullar takes it and saves our team from the first defeat of the season.
